Pennsylvania High School Softball - Greater Nanticoke Area succumbs to Berwick

In Thursday's league test, the Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), by a tally of 14-1.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Dallas Mountaineers (Dallas, PA) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 2. Berwick will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Mountaineers go into the test with a 8-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Pittston (Pittston, PA).

The Trojans (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA). The Hawkeyes go into the non-league test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Hanover Area was routed by Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA), 11-1, in a league test.
