The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Boiling Springs Bubblers (Boiling Springs, PA) and the visiting Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA), observed Boiling Springs's softball team get by Shippensburg by a tally of 6-5.

The Bubblers (9-10) will now prepare for their bout against James Buchanan (Mercersburg, PA). The Rockets go into the Mid-Penn - Colonial bout with a 9-9 record. In their last bout, James Buchanan was nipped by Big Spring (Newville, PA), 18-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Greyhounds clash with the Waynesboro Indians (Waynesboro, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Colonial bout, on Monday, May 5. Shippensburg will attempt to advance on its 10-7 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA).
