In Thursday's league match, the visiting Catonsville Comets softball team scored a tight 8-2 win over the Sparrows Point Pointers.
The Comets (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Century (Sykesville, MD). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 4-6 record.
In their next game, the Pointers confront the Dulaney Lions (Timonium, MD) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 5. Sparrows Point will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 13-2 record after their 8-0 league win over Perry Hall (Baltimore, MD).
