Rhode Island High School Softball - Narragansett bounces Classical

In Thursday's league match, the host Narragansett Mariners softball team scored a nice 18-8 win over the Classical Purple.

The Mariners (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Rogers (Newport, RI). The Vikings come into the Division 3 match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Rogers notched a victory over Exeter-West Greenwich (West Greenwich, RI), 16-6, in a league match.

In their next game, the Purple battle the Davies Career & Tech Patriots (Lincoln, RI) in a Division 3 match, on Monday, May 5. Classical will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 8-4 record after their 15-3 non-league loss to Burrillville (Harrisville, RI).
