The Narragansett Mariners overwhelmed the visiting Classical Purple softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Mariners meet the Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI) in a Division 3 challenge, on Wednesday, May 28. Narragansett will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 11-1 league win over Shea (Pawtucket, RI).

The Purple (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Shea (Pawtucket, RI). The Raiders come into the Division 3 match with a 10-9 record. In their last match, Shea was routed by Tiverton (Tiverton, RI), 11-1, in a league match.
