The Gray's Creek Bears overwhelmed the visiting Purnell Swett Rams softball squad by a count of 12-4 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 2. Gray's Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 20-2 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 7-2 league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC).
