California High School Softball - Bishop O'Dowd Alameda

Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA), 3-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Alameda improves its record to 18-3 on the year. The Hornets host Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA) to play the Trojans in a West Alameda County - Foothill game on Wednesday, May 6. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 16-4.

The Dragons now hold a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal Newman for a non-league game on Monday, May 4. Bishop O'Dowd will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Analy (Sebastopol, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-7.
