In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Franklin County Lions baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Pierce County Bears.
The Lions (27-7) will now prepare for their game against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 27-3 record. In their last match, Pierce County edged Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA), 9-5, in a non-league match.
