James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA), 14-1 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they host Alleghany for a Three Rivers challenge on Thursday, May 12. James River will battle a Mountaineers squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Radford falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Carroll County (Hillsville, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Three Rivers challenge on Wednesday, May 11. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 13-2. Carroll County won 7-6 in their recent league challenge against James River (Buchanan, VA)
