The Fairport Red Raiders softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Penfield Patriots to 2 in the Red Raiders league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Fairport improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Red Raiders host Spencerport (Spencerport, NY) to clash with the Rangers in a non-league game on Friday, May 12. The Rangers come into the game with a record of 3-14. Spencerport won 12-4 in their recent non-league game against Churchville-Chili (Churchville, NY)

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Hilton Cadets (Hilton, NY) in a Class AA game, on Thursday, May 11. Penfield will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Cadets come into the game with a 8-7 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Brockport (Brockport, NY).
