The Old Orchard Beach Seagulls softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Traip Rangers to 15 in the Seagulls league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Old Orchard Beach moves its record to 2-7 on the year. The Seagulls travel to Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME) to play the Hawks in a Class C South game on Thursday, May 11. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 4-2. Sacopee Valley lost 9-3 in their recent league game against Maranacook (Readfield, ME)

In their next game, the Rangers play the Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME) in a Class C South game, on Thursday, May 11. Traip will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Black Bears come into the game with a 4-2 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME).
