Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME), 15-7 in a league challenge.

The Seagulls now own a 4-12 record.

With the loss, Traip falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME) to battle the Hawks in a Class C South challenge on Monday, May 29. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Sacopee Valley lost 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME)
