Ramapo Raiders (Franklin Lakes, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ), 10-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host West Milford for a Big North challenge on Monday, May 15.

With the loss, Ridgewood falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Maroons host Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ) to face the Cutters in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Cutters enter the challenge with a record of 10-5. Fair Lawn lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ)
