The South Jefferson Spartans softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Watertown Cyclones to 2 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, South Jefferson improves its record to 14-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Oswego (Oswego, NY) to clash with the Bucs in a non-league game on Saturday, May 11. The Bucs come into the game with a record of 6-7. Oswego won 9-3 in their recent league game against Central Square (Central Square, NY)

In their next game, the Cyclones clash with the Massena Raiders (Massena, NY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 11. Watertown will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 4-10 record after their 15-5 league loss to Franklin Academy (Malone, NY).
