The Brookland Bearcats baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Lonoke Jackrabbits to 5 in the Bearcats non-league win on Saturday.

The Bearcats now own a 23-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Arkansas Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, May 15. Brookland will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Bauxite (Bauxite, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-12.

With the defeat, Lonoke drops to 11-11 on the year. The Jackrabbits travel to Harding Academy (Searcy, AR) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, May 15. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 4-0. Harding Academy won 9-8 in their recent non-league test against Bauxite (Bauxite, AR)
