The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ) and the visiting Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ), observed DePaul Catholic's softball team get by Passaic Valley by a tally of 11-7.
The Spartans (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against Academy of the Holy Angels (Demarest, NJ). The Angels go into the Big North - United bout with a 5-9 record.
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ) in a Big North - Independence bout, on Monday, May 12. Passaic Valley will attempt to advance on its 18-1 season record.
