Illinois High School Softball - Zion-Benton bounces Grayslake Central

The Zion-Benton Zee-Bees softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Grayslake Central Rams to 9 in the Zee-Bees non-league win on Saturday.
The Zee-Bees now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Zurich for a North Suburban battle on Monday, May 12. Zion-Benton will encounter a Bears team coming off a 16-3 non-league loss to Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Bears record now stands at 11-14.
With the loss, Grayslake Central moves to 10-11 on the season. The Rams host Antioch (Antioch, IL) to encounter the Sequoits in a Northern Lake County battle on Tuesday, May 13. The Sequoits come into the battle with a record of 15-12. Antioch won 6-3 in their recent non-league battle against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL)
