The Northside Vikings softball team (Roanoke, VA), was tipped 5-4 in Wednesday's non-league test with the host Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA)
Coming up next, the Bruins clash with the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a River Ridge test, on Thursday, May 12. Blacksburg will attempt to improve on its 15-6 season record. The Blue Demons come into the test with a 15-4 record after their 8-2 league win over Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA).
The Vikings (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Eagles come into the Blue Ridge test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Franklin County edged Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA), 4-3, in a league test.
