Virginia High School Baseball - King's Fork loses to Western Branch

The Western Branch Bruins baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting King's Fork Bulldogs to 1 in the Bruins league victory on Thursday.
The Bruins (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Benedictine (Richmond, VA). The Cadets come into the non-league test with a 23-7 record. In their last test, Benedictine notched a victory over Central Virginia HomeSchool Athletic Association (Amelia Court House, VA), 4-3, in a non-league test.
With the defeat, King's Fork falls to 3-12 on the season. The Bulldogs host Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Southeastern test on Tuesday, May 16. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 6-11. Lakeland lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA)
