The Northern York Polar Bears baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Shippensburg Greyhounds to 8 in the Polar Bears league victory on Thursday.

The Polar Bears (10-9) will now prepare for their match against Carlisle (Carlisle, PA). The Thundering Herd go into the non-league match with a 5-13 record. In their last match, Carlisle was edged by Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA), 12-5, in a league match.

The Greyhounds (9-8) will now prepare for their match against New Oxford (New Oxford, PA). The Colonials go into the non-league match with a 9-10 record. In their last match, New Oxford was edged by Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA), 10-3, in a league match.
