In Thursday's non-league game, the host Cumberland Clippers baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the East Providence Townies.
The Clippers (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Villa Novans go into the non-league game with a 3-4 record.
The Townies (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Sentinels go into the non-league game with a 3-5 record.
