New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 21-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Penn for a challenge on Monday, May 15. New Prairie will face a Kingsmen squad coming off a 12-9 non-league win over Lake Central (St. John, IN). The Kingsmen record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Lakeshore falls to 0-2 on the campaign.
