New York High School Softball - Marcellus holds off Skaneateles

The Marcellus Mustangs the visiting Skaneateles Lakers softball squad by a count of 7-5 in Thursday's league battle.

The Mustangs (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY). The Thunder go into the non-league battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Central Valley Academy by Oneida (Oneida, NY), 13-12, in a league battle.

The Lakers now sport a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Cazenovia for a Section 3 Liberty battle on Monday, May 15. Skaneateles will meet a Lakers squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to Christian Brothers Academy (Syracuse, NY). The Lakers record now stands at 2-7.
