New York High School Softball - Marcellus bounces Skaneateles

Marcellus Mustangs (Marcellus, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Skaneateles Lakers (Skaneateles, NY), 6-1 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 17-2 record. They take the field next when they host Westhill for a Section 3 Liberty challenge on Thursday, May 25. Marcellus will face a Warriors squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Oneida (Oneida, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, Skaneateles falls to 3-18 on the campaign.
