With the win, Mt. Vernon upgrades its record to 16-6 on the season. The Marauders host Yorktown (Yorktown, IN) to battle the Tigers in a Hoosier Heritage test on Tuesday, May 14. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 12-11. Yorktown lost 7-3 in their recent non-league test against Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN)

With the defeat, Carmel falls to 12-10 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Noblesville (Noblesville, IN) to battle the Millers in a non-league test on Monday, May 13. The Millers come into the test with a record of 20-3. Noblesville won 5-3 in their recent league test against Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN)
