The Mt. Vernon Marauders baseball team (Fortville, IN), was overwhelmed 6-2 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Carmel Greyhounds (Carmel, IN)

The Greyhounds now hold a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Noblesville for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 22. Carmel will battle a Millers squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Harrison (West Lafayette, IN). The Millers record now stands at 22-6.

With the defeat, Mt. Vernon falls to 18-7 on the season. The Marauders travel to Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN) to battle the Arabians in a non-league test on Thursday, May 23. The Arabians come into the test with a record of 16-10. Pendleton Heights won 9-7 in their recent non-league test against Connersville (Connersville, IN)
