In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Cranford Cougars softball team scored a close 7-3 win over the Union Farmers.

Coming up next, the Cougars battle the Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ) in a UCC - Watchung outing, on Monday, May 13. Cranford will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Minutemen enter the outing with a 10-9 record after their 3-1 non-league win over New Providence (New Providence, NJ).

The Farmers (2-15) will now prepare for their outing against Rahway (Rahway, NJ). The Indians enter the non-league outing with a 7-13 record. In their last outing, Rahway was routed by South Hunterdon (Lambertville, NJ), 13-3, in a non-league outing.
