Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Union Farmers (Union, NJ), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they host Hanover Park for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 8. Cranford will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Montville (Montville, NJ). The Hornets record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Union falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Farmers host Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ) to battle the Gaels in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 9. The Gaels enter the challenge with a record of 6-9.
