Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Mount de Sales Academy Sailors (Catonsville, MD), 21-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cavaliers now own a 17-3 record. They take the field next when they host John Carroll for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 17. Archbishop Spalding will face a Patriots squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Mount de Sales Academy falls to 1-7 on the campaign.
