The University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting De La Salle Collegiate Pilots to 3 in the Cubs league victory on Friday.
The Cubs (1-13) will now prepare for their match against Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Huskies go into the non-league match with a 8-4 record. In their last match, Lakeview edged Marysville (Marysville, MI), 20-9, in a non-league match.
The Pilots (5-9) will now prepare for their match against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 13-7 record. In their last match, University Liggett by Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 9-0, in a league match.
