North Carolina High School Softball - Midway nudges South Lenoir

Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 18-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nash Central for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 16. Midway will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 20-5.

With the loss, South Lenoir falls to 12-7 on the campaign.
