In Monday's non-league bout, the Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV) baseball squad the visiting Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV), by a score of 7-3.
Next up, the Cougars encounter the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) in a Big Ten bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Lincoln will attempt to advance on its 17-15 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 18-8 record after their 7-6 non-league win over University (Morgantown, WV).
The Trojans (8-15) will now prepare for their bout against Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV). The Indians enter the Potomac Valley bout with a 4-27 record. In their last bout, Berkeley Springs was overwhelmed by Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV), 13-0, in a non-league bout.
