Michigan High School Softball - Anchor Bay bounces Chippewa Valley

The Anchor Bay Tars softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Chippewa Valley Big Reds to 1 in the Tars league win on Monday.

The Tars now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Regina for a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. Anchor Bay will confront a team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Divine Child (Dearborn, MI). The record now stands at 7-10.

With the loss, Chippewa Valley moves to 8-11 on the season. The Big reds host Dakota (Macomb, MI) to confront the Cougars in a Macomb Area - Red battle on Thursday, May 15. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 17-5. Dakota won 8-4 in their recent league battle against Romeo (Romeo, MI)
