Michigan High School Softball - Anchor Bay bounces Chippewa Valley

In Friday's league match, the host Anchor Bay Tars softball team scored a tight 10-4 win over the Chippewa Valley Big Reds.

The Tars (9-5) will now prepare for their match against St. Clair (St. Clair, MI). The Saints come into the non-league match with a 13-2 record.

In their next game, the Big Reds confront the Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI) in a Macomb Area - Red match, on Tuesday, May 6. Chippewa Valley will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 11-6 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Utica (Utica, MI).
