Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME), 16-6 in a league challenge.

The Lynx now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16.

With the loss, Central falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Bucksport (Bucksport, ME) to battle the Golden Bucks in a Class C North challenge on Monday, May 16. The Golden Bucks enter the challenge with a record of 9-1. Bucksport won 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME)
