Alabama High School Softball - Lamar County nudges Colbert County

The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL) and the host Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL), saw Lamar County's softball squad nip Colbert County by a count of 11-10.
The Bulldogs now sport a 17-22 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mars Hill Bible for a non-league match on Friday, May 13. Lamar County will face a Panthers squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Red Bay (Red Bay, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 34-8.
With the loss, Colbert County falls to 10-24 on the campaign.
