Maine High School Softball - Leavitt bounces Mt. Blue

The Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) softball routed the visiting Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME), 15-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hornets (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Gardiner (Gardiner, ME). The Tigers go into the Class B South bout with a 8-1 record. In their last bout, Gardiner toppled Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME), 1-0, in a league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Skowhegan for a Class A North outing on Monday, May 15. Mt. Blue will battle a River Hawks team coming off a 4-3 league win over Brewer (Brewer, ME). The River Hawks record now stands at 10-0.
