Maine High School Softball - Leavitt bounces Mt. Blue

The Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) softball routed the host Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME), 25-7 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Hornets (9-3) will now prepare for their bout against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Panthers go into the Class B South bout with a 6-7 record. In their last bout, Medomak Valley toppled Erskine Academy (South China, ME), 16-5, in a league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Hampden for a Class A North bout on Monday, May 22. Mt. Blue will confront a Broncos squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Hermon (Hermon, ME). The Broncos record now stands at 7-5.
