De Soto Pirates (De Soto, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host North Crawford Trojans (Soldiers Grove, WI), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 4-14 record. They take the field next when they host Ithaca for a Ridge & Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 14.

With the loss, North Crawford falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Trojans host New Lisbon (New Lisbon, WI) to battle the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 0-17. New Lisbon lost 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Necedah (Necedah, WI)
