De Soto Pirates (De Soto, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting North Crawford Trojans (Soldiers Grove, WI), 10-9 in a league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they host Seneca for a Ridge & Valley challenge on Monday, May 6.
With the loss, North Crawford falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Weston (Cazenovia, WI) to battle the Silver Eagles in a Ridge & Valley challenge on Monday, May 6. The Silver Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
