In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens (New Britain, CT), by a tally of 16-2.
Next up, the Knights encounter the East Granby Crusaders (East Granby, CT) in a North Central Connecticut bout, on Thursday, May 15. Ellington will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Crusaders enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 14-2 league win over Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT).
The Ravens (1-9) will now prepare for their bout against Hale Ray (Moodus, CT). The Noises enter the non-league bout with a 2-12 record. In their last bout, Hale Ray was overwhelmed by Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT), 2-1, in a league bout.
