Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens (New Britain, CT), 16-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Ellington moves its record to 12-4 on the season. The Knights host East Granby (East Granby, CT) to encounter the Crusaders in a North Central Connecticut bout on Thursday, May 15. The Crusaders enter the bout with a record of 4-2. East Granby won 14-2 in their recent league bout against Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT)
The Ravens (1-9) will now prepare for their bout against Hale Ray (Moodus, CT). The Noises enter the non-league bout with a 2-12 record. In their last bout, Hale Ray was overwhelmed by Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT), 2-1, in a league bout.
