Oak Hill Golden Eagles (Converse, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elwood for a Central Indiana challenge on Tuesday, May 17. Oak Hill will face a Panthers squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Taylor (Kokomo, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Southwood falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN) to face the Braves in a Three Rivers challenge on Monday, May 16. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 10-7. Maconaquah lost 10-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Mississinewa (Gas City, IN)
