In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Wake Forest Cougars baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Corinth Holders Pirates.
The Cougars (23-3) will now prepare for their game against Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC). The Crusaders go into the non-league game with a 14-13 record. In their last game, Cardinal Gibbons tipped D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
