The Providence Catholic Celtics volleyball team (New Lenox, IL), went down 2-0 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL)

The Ramblers (28-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 17-17 record. In their last challenge, Saint Viator defeated Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Celtics encounter the St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - Blue challenge, on Thursday, May 18. Providence Catholic will attempt to move on its 10-23 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 17-14 record after their 2-0 league loss to Brother Rice (Chicago, IL).
