Newton South Lions (Newton, MA) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Newton North Tigers (Newtonville, MA), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Lions battle the Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons (Cambridge, MA) in a Dual County match, on Wednesday, May 18. Newton South will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record.

With the loss, Newton North drops to 5-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA) to battle the Wildcats in a Bay State match on Tuesday, May 17. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 3-10. Weymouth lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Needham (Needham, MA)
