Illinois High School Softball - Glenbard West gets by Oak Park-River Forest

The Glenbard West Hilltoppers got by the visiting Oak Park-River Forest Huskies softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Monday's league battle.

The Hilltoppers (9-15) will now prepare for their battle against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans go into the West Suburban - Silver battle with a 15-6 record. In their last battle, Downers Grove North nudged Proviso West (Hillside, IL), 17-0, in a league battle.

The Huskies now sport a 7-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lyons for a West Suburban - Silver outing on Tuesday, May 17. Oak Park-River Forest will encounter a Lions team coming off a 7-2 league win over York (Elmhurst, IL). The Lions record now stands at 17-2.
