Ohio High School Softball - Hopewell-Loudon bounces Calvert

Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Calvert Senecas (Tiffin, OH), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Chieftains now own a 27-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carey for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 19. Hopewell-Loudon will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 11-6 league win over Upper Sandusky (Upper Sandusky, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-5.

With the loss, Calvert falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Senecas host Vanlue (Vanlue, OH) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. Vanlue lost 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Perry (Lima, OH)
