In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Centennial Hawks softball team scored a nice 20-7 win over the Carlsbad Cavemen.
Coming up next, the Hawks battle the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league outing, on Friday, May 17. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 26-2 season record. The Bears enter the outing with a 24-4 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM).
The Cavemen (18-11) will now prepare for their outing against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans enter the non-league outing with a 17-10 record. In their last outing, Mayfield ran past Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM), 10-7, in a non-league outing.
