The West Anchorage Eagles soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Bartlett for a Cook Inlet bout on Saturday, May 17. West Anchorage will play a Golden Bears squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Golden Bears record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Bettye Davis East Anchorage moves to 0-10 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Dimond (Anchorage, AK) to play the Lynx in a Cook Inlet bout on Saturday, May 17. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Dimond won 6-0 in their recent league bout against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)
